Сопроводительный текст к рисунку: «The picture shows a touching scene of the Great Patriotic War.

 It demonstrates a couple of weary soldiers seeking refuge in a village home. The comrades, dressed in worn uniforms, sitting at the wooden table, personify   fatigue and gratitude.

 In the center of the picture a kind woman is serving them some simple food. Her expression reflects warmth and care as she offers not only food but also a hope in these tough times.

 In the corner of the room we can see icons that save people's faith.

 I tried to show that compassion and support during the war can bring people consolation and inner strength».
