Peter the Great statue in Rotterdam

This monument is a gift from Russia to Holland. In 1997, in honor of the 300th anniversary of “the Great Embassy” in Rotterdam, a monument to Peter I, who visited this city twice, was unveiled on the embankment of the Meuse River. The author of the 2.7 m high bronze statue was Leonid Baranov.
