International summer virtual photo album “The Sunny world”
Dear visitors of the site http://inter.pskovlib.ru/sunworld, Internet surfers, readers and library partners!
Summer has come – a time of holidays and vacations, the highest flowering of nature and the brightness of colors; time of travels, rest and joyful impressions! Smartphones and cameras are not released from the hands, recording the brightest and most interesting moments, events, new faces and new places that are opening up to us in the summer.
State budgetary institution of culture "The Pskov regional universal scientific library" (Russia), Sillamäe Central library of the Republic of Estonia and the State institution "Vitebsk regional library named after V.I. Lenin” from the Republic of Belarus - invite readers and friends of their libraries, as well as all those wishing to create an international summer virtual photo album "The Sunny world".
It is tempting, of course, to capture ALL the wonderful moments of life in summer!.. But what's important to you personally isn't always interesting to others, is it?! Therefore, the creators of the album have decided to choose a key image and theme of the photos for THIS album. And it will be ... the SUN!
The sun shines for all on the planet Earth! "There is a sun in every person. Just let it shine " - we agree with the immortal wisdom of Socrates. As an epigraph to our album we take a poem of Russian poet Marina Tsvetaeva:
The sun is one, but it walks around all the cities.
The sun is mine. I'm not giving it to anyone.
Not for an hour, not for a ray, not for a look. - Nobody. Never!
Let the cities die in the eternal night!
I'll hold! - not to let it spin in a circle!
Let my hands and lips, and heart burn!
If it is lost in the eternal night - I’ll chase the footprints...
My sun! I'm not giving you up!
Share your sunny mood with the whole world! Life on our planet is beautiful in all its corners – so let's show it with our pictures! We are waiting for your exclusive, author's, unexpected view of the world in which we live!
